Match Trader Platform - Complete Overview

In this guide, you’ll get a complete overview of the Match Trader platform. You’ll learn how to log in, navigate the interface, open trades, and use all the main features — both in the web version and on your smartphone.

Login & Getting Started

To access the platform, enter your email and password on the login screen. You will receive your login details by email after your account is activated.

After logging in, you will see the main dashboard with charts and market information. Here you can:

  • View live market data
  • Switch between your live and demo account
  • Explore all available trading instruments

The symbol list (left sidebar)

On the left side, you’ll find the list of all tradable symbols, divided into several tabs.

Favorites

The first tab shows the most popular assets. Each symbol displays:

  • The name of the instrument
  • The current price
  • The daily percentage change

Select a symbol and trade

When you click on a symbol, you will see:

  • The Buy price (buy)
  • The Sell price (sell)
  • A field in between where you enter your trade volume input
  • The total value after applying leverage

Advanced order panel

In the advanced order panel, you have additional options:

  • Activate Risk Mode — automatically adjusts your position size based on the maximum loss you are willing to take
  • Stop-loss and take-profit set before opening the trade
  • See how these levels are converted into your account currency

💡 Tip: Next to the order panel there is a small eye icon that shows you the most important details about the instrument — e.g. minimum position size, swaps, and leverage.

Top Movers

In the Top Movers tab, you’ll see the most volatile assets of the day. By default, the list is based on the biggest daily moves, but you can also display weekly and monthly changes.

Search symbol

Using the search icon, you can search specifically for instruments and browse through different asset classes as well as related symbols.

Market information & news

Below the symbol section, you’ll find important market information:

  • Market News — current news
  • Calendar — upcoming macroeconomic events

Additional tabs in the market area

  • Market Tab — daily price range and market sentiment
  • Symbol Info — detailed information about the selected instrument
  • Copy Trading — discover Money Managers and copy their trades (more on that below)

Header: Profit & Account Balance

At the top of the platform, your Profit is displayed by default. However, you can also show your account balance:

  1. Click the arrow next to the Profit field
  2. Select which values should be visible

The Trade tab & charting

In the Trade tab, the chart for the selected asset is displayed. You can choose between two chart layouts:

  • Match Trader Chart (default)
  • TradingView layout

Chart information

At the top of the chart, you can see the following for the current candle:

  • Open
  • High
  • Low
  • Close

Chart settings (right)

On the right, you can adjust your chart settings:

  • Change timeframe
  • Switch between line chart and candlestick chart
  • Zoom in and out
  • Activate full-screen mode

Technical tools

You can add various technical tools:

  • Crosshair activate to read precise price and time levels
  • Lines or shapes draw with the pen tool
  • Chart patterns or indicators add
  • Manage your layout manage

Bottom bar: positions & history

At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see everything related to your trading activity:

  • Open Positions — currently open positions
  • Pending Orders — orders not yet executed
  • Closed Trades — completed trades
  • Financial History — deposits, withdrawals, and financial movements

Each of these areas can be sorted — for example by symbol or by deposits and withdrawals.

Prop area, competitions & analytics

Prop Section

Here you’ll find all available trading challenges with their prices. Click on "Details" to learn more about the respective challenge.

Competitions

In this section, you can view all ongoing and upcoming trading competitions.

Analytics

The Analytics tab shows your account performance, including:

  • ROI (Return on Investment)
  • Trade History
  • Additional performance statistics

Explore

Under Explore, you’ll find:

  • Market News
  • Upcoming events
  • Current market trends
